In the previous article you've learnt how to set up discounts for particular reservation. In this article we will show you to set general discounts for rooms.
What is a Special Offer?
A special offer is a discount for your customers. It applies when they book or stay in a room for which this discount has been defined. You can specify a room category and select a certain time of the year.
To set a Special Offer:
Step 1 Go to the Menu bar, choose Manage and Special Offers
If you haven't added any Special Offers yet, your dashboard will look like this:
Step 2 To add a new offer click
You can specify different settings in order to set a Special Offer. Let's take a look at them separately
- Name - e.g. Black Friday Sale
- Discount - you can choose between fixed or percentage
- Discount - click a number e.g. if you say it's fixed and you click 20, the discount will be 20 EUR. If you decide the discount is a percentage, then the price will be 20% lower
Choose Room Categories for which you want the discount to be applied.
- Check in date / check out date / whole stay
Chose when your customers need to check in / check out or need to stay, so that they qualify for a Special Offer
- Booked between
Choose dates in which a customer must book a room in order to qualify for a Special Offer
- Number of guests, stay length, arrival days
Specify the minimum and maximum number of guests who need to book a room in order to qualify for a Special Offer (in our example it is a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 4 guests).
Specify the minimum and maximum stay length, so that guests qualify for a Special Offer (in our example it is a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 10 days).
Specify on which days guests must arrive in order to qualify for a Special Offer (in our example it is every day).
Step 3 Click
You will see an overview of your Special Offer with all your defined conditions.
